ICC to implement new rules, MS Dhoni and Gayle in danger


ICC will implement new rules from 1 October 2017 which will basically benefit some players while at the same time harmful for others. In a report by ICC, it will enact some of the following rules in all cricket formats.

1. The bat thickness should not more than 40 mm and if it is found to be more than that the player will have to bear a suspension for 3 months or 2 matches. This particular rule that is to be implemented from 1 October will give some stress t players like MS Dhoni whose bat has a present thickness of around 45.2 mm which is much more than the given criteria. For your kind information we may tell you that more the thickness of a bat, easy it is to hit a ball for six. Virat Kohli did certainly pass this test.

2. The second regulation to enacted is that the weight of bat should not be more than 1.2 kilograms and this will affect one of the most famous players Chris Gayle whose bat weighs around 1.35 kilograms.
