ICC will implement new rules from 1 October 2017 which will basically benefit some players while at the same time harmful for others. In a report by ICC, it will enact some of the following rules in all cricket formats.
1. The bat thickness should not more than 40 mm and if it is found to be more than that the player will have to bear a suspension for 3 months or 2 matches. This particular rule that is to be implemented from 1 October will give some stress t players like MS Dhoni whose bat has a present thickness of around 45.2 mm which is much more than the given criteria.
